We held a unique workshop of teaching how to cook Tipat cantok / gado-gado, a Balinese dish. MaDy shared her knowledge with everyone not only about how to cook the dish but also about her life and culture on the Island of Bali, Indonesia.
The workshop was followed by lunch and around the table gathered a number of unique mentalities from around the world. Anna from Spain who works online and chose with her partner Robert from USA to live in Zagreb after they fall in love with the city. Then we had Eve from UK who also chose to raise her family in a small village near Zagreb. A friend of Eve is Mari from Scotland who also chose to retire here and bought a house and a land with a plan to grow her own food. Suzana was the only Croatian on the table who got the role of leading the conversation to discover more of every culture. Rose from Malaysia shared with a great dessert of coconut cupcake and Theresa from Egypt put together a dessert of a gluten free cupcake, the combination was not to be missed after that healthy delicious lunch.
